Making this piece is how I stumbled into my personal art style.

In 2020, I had been playing with curves in Blender, then figured out you can make models follow the curves and repeat those, using arrays, to make pipes with sections that were totally editable.

This was really fun and I realised you could sort of treat it like sculpture, so I made a bit of a tangled mess with them, and had the idea to put some structural elements on it to give a sense of scale. Then I got obsessive about building on those ideas and years later I’m still at it.
